Founded by the (late) Paul Coleiro in 1976, at the time, the company was a pioneer in the supply of paints and garage equipment. Today, jointly managed by his sons Louis and Kenneth, the Group has evolved in various sectors such as property, marine, yachting, oil and gas, and aerospace. The Group is complemented by a dedicated team of over 200 workers.
Evolving from Coleiro Auto Parts, Paul Coleiro in 1976 founded Coleiro General Supplies Limited in Malta being at the time an innovative and technologically advanced company to the extent that it was the first private company to have a computerised accounts and invoicing system in Malta. The company’s main activity was in the supply and repair of garage and spray painting equipment together with the supply of automotive and industrial paints. During the years, the Group evolved and is now comprising of Coleiro General Supplies Limited, Pentagon Paints, Auto Finishes, Coleiro Yacht Finishes Limited, Coliparts, Yacht Pride SRL, Navigo Malta, Yacht Refit Masters and Omegayacht Promo.
Today, the Group has achieved an impeccable A-rating standard through its hard work, professionalism and good working practices. The Group can offer any service or supply of paint to any object between an aircraft and a submarine, including the two! The paint training school inaugurated in 1985 was the bridge between the supply of specialised paints and their application. During the years, this paint school, which is recognised by the Maltese Government, has been extremely beneficial to customers, students and also in-house workers over the many years of its operation. At present, the school is used as a training centre by paint suppliers and paint equipment suppliers to promote their products and demonstrate the best method of application. The five local outlets, the paint factory, our representation in Libya and Tunisia, premises in Viareggio and over 200 dedicated employees surely contribute to offer a 360 degrees service to any service related to the Group’s activity. Our team of engineers who are committed to offer and sustain our after sales service are also continuously being trained overseas by our suppliers in order to keep abreast with the new technological developments. Whilst it is our satisfaction that a considerable number of our workers have been in our team averaging well over 20 years of service, we are also actively involved in the training of new recruits.
Pentagon Paints Ltd. was amongst the first evidential growth of the Coleiro Group when in the early 80’s, we set up our own paint manufacturing plant now located in Marsa, Malta. Pentagon Paints Ltd. specialises in the manufacturing of automotive and specialised industrial and marine paints. In this factory, tailor-made paint products are manufactured according to customers’ requirements and to suit any application required. Pentagon Paints also exports in England, Middle East and Africa.
The company has also diversified to increase its strength by supplying passenger lifts, car and truck washes, development of property, industrial and domestic floor resin applications and supply in sole-agency original auto parts such as Magenti Marelli to which the latter is operated by Coliparts in Qormi, Malta.
Through the vast experience achieved in the maritime sector in collaboration with prominent yards worldwide in various activities, the Coleiro Group has worked in the development of marinas, ports and other maritime and environmental services overseas, in particular in Italy in collaboration with Na.Vi.Go. s.c.a r.l. and Modimar SRL. With Na.Vi.Go. s.c.a r.l., the Coleiro Group has extended its collaboration by the setting up of Navigo Malta in collaboration with MTA and the support of the Maltese Government.
YachtMaster Refits
YachtMaster Refits is a member of the Coleiro Group in which it enhances the maritime strength within the Group itself. This company specialises in the refit management, operating from Malta and from Viareggio to be of service to yachts through its contacts with suppliers and craftsmen within the sector. YachtMaster Refits works in collaboration with prominent marine yacht surveyors, designers and engineers.
Navigo Malta
Following the success of Na.Vi.Go. s.c.a r.l., this organisation collaborating with the Coleiro Group offers peace of mind to any yacht owner, yacht managing company or captain, who requires a service in the Mediterranean. The vast experience enjoyed by Navigo. is appreciated by large entities such as investors and developers. Navigo is an aid in the tourism sector and consulted by Governmental institutions to set up policies and help in the design and promotion of EU environmental projects, especially within the maritime sector.
